Travis "Buck" Giles

Travis "Buck" Giles, age 69, of Speck Ridge Road , Elkhorn, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Taylor Regional Hospital after a brief illness.

He was the son of the late Van and Irene Giles. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Giles of Elkhorn, one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Debbie Giles of Elkhorn, one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Al Gamboa of Lexington, eight Grandchildren,

Sarah, Grace, and Emily Giles, Eric, Vanessa, Chelsie, Amber and A. J. Gamboa, one great grandchild, Nate Fugate, three brothers, Charles Giles of Columbia, Dee Giles of Florida and Michael Giles of Indiana, three sisters, Janie Spicer, Judy Jones both of Indiana and Frances Reynolds of Columbia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Thursday at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.
