Mary Margaret Parrott Rogers of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Harvey Parrott and Claude Ford Parrott was born May 15, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She passed away at 5:40 A.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Hodgenville. Age: 84

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was past president of Taylor County Historical Society and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was a retired employee of Ingersoll – Rand Company.

She united in marriage to Charles William Rogers July 30, 1948.

He preceded her in death January 15, 1985.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Kaye Sanders and husband Ron of Hodgenville; two granddaughters: Allison Lindsay Shaw of Lexington and Meredith Lynn Shaw of Louisville; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Parrott of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Alvin Parrott and Wanda Parrott.
