Richard Lee Williams of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest Williams and Vela Clark Williams was born February 8, 1944 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 3:02 A.M., Sunday, January 17, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 65

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Liberty.

He united in marriage to Doris Cox December 6, 1962. Besides his wife, Doris Williams of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and three sons: Kim Smith and husband Phil of Indiana, Ricky Williams and wife Dana, Shannon Williams, Steven D. Williams and Shaune Williams and wife Lisa of Campbellsville; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Norma Jean Walters of Campbellsville, Marie Murrell and Mae Dean of Indiana, and Velma Lois Myers of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Dorothy Burris, Helen Rucker, Sonny Williams, Ernest Williams Jr., and Kenneth Williams.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsvile by Rev. Don Gowin, Rev. Brian Rafferty and Rev. Haywood Riner

 

BURIAL:    Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery

 

FAMILY REQUESTS EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY BE DONATIONS TO THE FUNERAL EXPENSES AND MAY BE MADE AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

doris ,sorry to see richard die so soon.
have great menories of him and jimmy up here in louisville in 74-76.may GOD give you peace and comfort.
