Coakley Hoosier, age 79, of Liberty, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his residence after an illness. He was the son of the late Houston and Lottie Burress Hoosier. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Hoosier and Jack Hoosier, and two sisters, Velma Bailey and Wilma Karnes. He is survived by his wife, Annie Hoosier of Liberty, one daughter and son-in-law, Maelynn and James Alfred Appleby of Casey County, two grandchildren, James Coakley Dooley and Crystal Ann Sallee, two great grandchildren, Jacob Allem and James Malchi Dooley, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bradley & Ruby Hoosier and Willie & Betty Hoosier all of Campbellsville, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Hettie McDonald of Casey County, Nellie Goode Onie and Johnny Abell, Zelma and Bobby Lotter all of Campbellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bro.
