Charlie Thompson Sr.

Charlie Thompson Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Owen Thompson and Zuleima Thompson, was born February 8, 1959, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  He died at 5:16 A.M., Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Elizabethtown.     Age:  49

He united in marriage to Connie Osborne, March 22, 1978.   

He was owner and operator of CMS Giant Tire Company.  

Besides his wife, Connie Thompson of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons:  Charlie Thompson Jr. and wife, Chasidy and Matthew Thompson and wife, Emily of Campbellsville; seven sisters and three brothers:  Mary Lou Burnett of Mooresville, Indiana, Dorothy Jean Bird of Sonora, Kentucky, Owen Thompson Jr. of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Helena Chapman of Stephenville, Texas, Irene Jordan of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Jeri Downey of Bardstown, Kentucky, Juanita Sullivan and David Thompson of Munfordville, Kentucky, Daniel Ray Thompson of Mammoth Cave, Kentucky and Janet Douglas of Chandler, Indiana; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Channie and Jane Osborne of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Kasey Thompson
