Gilbert Pike of Campbellsville, son of the late Bryan Pike and Estella Bault Pike, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, June 14, 1927. He died at
5:50 A.M., Saturday, June 21, 2008, in Campbellsville.           Age:   81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Betty Stephens December 11, 1948. She preceded him in death January 2, 2001.
He united in marriage to Dorothy Burress Daffron November 15, 2003. She preceded him in death May 29, 2007.
He is survived by one daughter and two sons: Roxie (Doug) Hunt, Steve (Carol) Pike and Gary Pike of Campbellsville, four grandchildren, Travis Warren of Glasgow, Wendy Grant of Russell Springs, Josh Pike of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Anna Pike of Campbellsville; one step grandchild, and Joey Hunt of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Abigail Grant and Jasmin Grant of Russell Springs and Emma Rae Warren and Mary Claire Warren of Glasgow.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Laramie Warren December 26, 1989.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Parrott &
Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Norris E. McCawley
 
BURIAL: Griffin Cemetery
