Danny Brown of Campbellsville, son of the late Jolie Brown and Ethel Stanton Brown, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 12, 1949.  He died at 7:44 A.M., Monday, June 30, 2008, in Lebanon.      Age:   59

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. 

He united in marriage to Carolyn Ann Sexton February 2, 1974.  She preceded him in death May 25, 2005. 

He is survived by five step-daughters and one step-son:  Sharon Taylor, Connie Lackey, Sandy Walters and DeWayne Baldwin of Campbellsville, Virginia Burns of Burkesville and Peggy Bowling of Somerset; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters:  Archie Brown, Peggy Bryant, Lola Sallee and Dorothy Rash of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters:  Charles Brown, Lewis Brown, Elmer Brown, Augusta Walters and Bernice Brown.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Paul J. Dicken

VISITATION:  After 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

 

BURIAL:                        Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery
